Christmas Concert – Saturday 7 December, 3pm

Edinburgh Chamber Orchestra's annual festive concert takes place this year on Saturday 7 December at 3pm at Greenbank Parish Church.

The programme is as follows:

• Mozart: Exultate Jubilate 
• Domenico Cimarosa: Symphony in Bb Major
• Edwina Palmer & Agnes Best: Two Christmas Pieces for Strings
• Willcocks: Carols

Spring Concert – Saturday 23rd March, 7.30pm

Edinburgh Chamber Orchestra will be playing our spring concert on Saturday 23rd March at 7.30pm at Greenbank Parish Church.

Haydn Symphony No. 64 in A Major
Haydn Cello Concerto in C Major 
Mozart Symphony No 29 in A Major (!st Movement)

Corelli: Concerto Grossi Op. 6 No. 8 in G Minor ("The Christmas Concerto)

Handel: Messiah No. 1 Overture

Mozart: Three Divertimenti (No. 1 in D Major)

Neruda: Trumpet Concerto in E flat.

And a selection of Christmas carols.

Christmas Concert 2022

For the first time since 2019 Edinburgh Chamber Orchestra will be performing a Christmas concert at Greenbank Parish Church on Saturday 10 December 2022 at 7.30pm. 

The programme includes:

Mendelssohn  Schweizer Symphony

Gade  Die Weihnachtsglocken

Bridge  A Christmas Dance

and a selection of Christmas carols. 

Refreshments served. 

Tickets: £10 full price. £5 for students. Children: Free.

Spring and Summer Concerts

Edinburgh Chamber Orchestra will be returning to performance with two concerts over the coming months.

The first will take place at Greenbank Parish Church at 7.30pm on Wednesday 27 April 2022. 

We will also be performing at Crichton Collegiate Church, Pathhead, Midlothian, on Sunday 5 June at 3pm. 

The Repertoire will include:

Vivaldi Concerto Grosso Op3 No.8

Haydn Violin Concerto in G Major

Mozart Symphony in F KV 112

Boyce Symphony No 8 in D Minor
