The Edinburgh Chamber Orchestra's annual Christmas concert takes place at Morningside United Church on Wednesday 7 December 2016 at 7.30pm.
The programme includes:
Suite 'La Bouffonne" by GP Telemann
Viola Concerto in G by GP Telemann
Concerto for Two Trumpets – A Vivaldi
as well as a range of traditional Christmas carols.
Entrance (by programme) is available on the door, priced £10, which includes festive nibbles and a glass of wine.

Autumn term begins on Wednesday 5 October. New members welcome!
Edinburgh Chamber Orchestra will begin rehearsals for our Christmas concert at 7.30pm on Wednesday 5 October at Morningside United Church.
The programme for this term will be the Suite in D and the Viola Concerto in G by Telemann as well as Vivaldi's Double Trumpet Concerto.
As ever, new members are welcome, particularly upper strings.

Concert – Sunday 5 June, Prestonkirk, East Linton CANCELLED
Just to let you know: the Edinburgh Chamber Orchestra's forthcoming concert at Prestonkirk, East Linton on Sunday 5 June 2016 at 3pm has been CANCELLED.
The orchestra will be taking a break over the summer, returning to rehearsals in September. Please contact us if you're interested in joining and stay tuned for details of upcoming concerts.

Easter Concerts – Pergolesi's Stabat Mater and Concertos
Edinburgh Chamber Orchestra will be performing a pair of concerts over the Easter period.
We will once again be marking Good Friday by performing the Stabat Mater, composed by Giovanni Battista Pergolesi.
This concert will take place on Good Friday (Friday 25th March) at Morningside United Church at 7.30pm and is free.
We are also staging a concert featuring three concertos, performed by leading players from Scotland and beyond. The concertos are: the Piano Concerto in D Minor by Ferrucio Busoni; Mozart's Concerto for Horn and Orchestra No 3 in E-Flat Major; and Busoni's Suite for Clarinet and String Ensemble in G-Minor.
The concert takes place on Saturday 2nd April at Morningside United Church at 7.30pm.
Tickets are available on the door. Price: £10.
